Why is it that if a woman yells pussy!
A man will always respond over here.
This world is not ready to see two men hold hands and walk down the street with love and affection. However two women can kiss, a woman can choose to dance with another woman in a small corner bar, and not one ugly word be spoken. (alond)
A man wearing his military uniform on a crowded train, he is thanked openly, expressions of graduate cover the faces of many as he stands with one bag over his shoulder another in his hand.
However when the doors open at this some what city stop, he is met with love hugs and kisses for another man. The train’s passengers and those on the platform turn into actual hate and vial words.
Here a man was using his life for the care of others and his nation, however we the people are more concerned with the question of his sexuality.
The world won’t get no better we have to change it…just you and me.
Change is coming to America, this is what we hope and “The Dream” states that someday the content of our character would be the concern, not the color of your skin or the person you choose to stand with. Why is it that we the people elect new representation in our congress again and again, however we never seem to take two steps forward, without taking one back. Because the mind set of the party has not changed they put on the colors of red or blue and for the most part walk in red or white. (Not for the People)
They have reached for the office like a reality TV star has reached for fame and money and in this brief moment put on a good show. Why we the people still have needs.
Because they all have a hidden agenda, so while pushing to get things for the people of there state – thy also learn the way things are done in this town they call Washington D.C. Just about everywhere you go there’s a stop sign.
The world won’t get no better we have to change it … just you and me.
Why does it cost so much, and why is the money not spent with careful thought of checks and balances.
You can depend on Brain Ross to tell it like it is (ABC news) he exposes the waste and asks the hard questions that should and often does move us all to change.
In New York they changed the name of the Triboro Bridge to honor a great man of hope and change Robert F Kennedy.
At what cost, in a time when people where losing their jobs left and right, large companies were fading into the background of what use to be, and big names disappeared from the overhead signs that hang in Times Square and over America. It cost an unimaginable number of millions to simply change the name of the bridge.
£ A sign of yellow flashing lights warned of the name change 24 hours a day for about a months.
£ All the green and white signs where changes with days all a cost of about a half a million dollars per sign. From the edges of LaGuardia airport to the out reaches of upstate NY.
£ The ceremony was held under the bridge in Astoria Park, with the mayor and governor in tow, covered by the national news and major newspapers outlets, you would think that is enough to get the word out.
I’m 100% for the change, love it, however in this day of email, text, twitter, instant message, facebook, Skype and countless others – we the people have paid too much.
Some of us don’t even wonder, some of us don’t even care...
